I can't believe I didn't even write anything at all...
This is my second post. I need to do better at this. So much happened since the last post. I am done with my first year!! Crazy! Tue the 13th was the last day of my 3rd semester! It was not an easy semester at all. I had Microbiology, Fundamental of nursing, Pharmacology 1 and the first round of clinical at a nursing home. This was the semester that we were tested in so many ways... I was told by my friend that this is the semester where we will know if we want to keep going or not. Things got much harder from the first day. We all entered the class feeling excited and left the school feeling so overwhelmed. Well, the overwhelming feeling never stopped throughout the semester... it even got worse I should say! I cried all the time... I can't remember how many meltdowns I had this semester and reached out to my classmates close to midnight venting hahaha. Good thing I wasn't the only one feeling this way!

I am going to look back on the semester and write down what went well and what didn't!

Introduction

Hi, my name is Yuki. I am a wife and a mom of 4 kids + a dog. I am 38 years old. (Yep no hiding my age) I started the BSN program last Sep 2018. It is 3 years program, so hopefully, I will be getting my BSN in 2021 Summer. It seems like a looong way to go right now. So far I am enjoying this adventure. So many friends ask me how I am doing it. I honestly don't know how I did it last semester. It went super fast! I have been thinking to start a blog so that one day my family and I can look back and see what we all accomplished together. And also this may help moms like me out there trying to decide if going back to school (or getting into nursing school) is a good idea ;)

I have the best support from my family and friends! Thanks to my biggest supporters!! My husband and the kids. I know they miss the time playing and just hanging out. I miss it too. But they were amazing throughout the semester and I know 100% I couldn't have done it without their help!
I have awesome friends who took care of my daughters on the day I have to go to school. I got to know some awesome classmates and that was also super helpful! I just want to thank all of you for supporting me, believing in me, and encouraging me during this crazy decision to go back to school to be a nurse!
